Kurt's a Unicorn

So I watched Glee, and it was bad.  Not surprising.

Rachel and Kurt audition for the school's production of West Side Story to get some acting cred under their belts to impress the college they're applying to.  Kurt wants the lead role of Tony, but he's too gay to pull it off.  This makes him distraught, as he often is about his gayness.  The pink, unicorn-y posters Brittany makes him for his class president campaign don't help his fragile psyche, either.  He eventually seems more OK with himself, but he's sad that Blaine is being considered for the lead role he wants.

It's because Blaine didn't do this.
Meanwhile, Shelby Corcran, aka Rachel's mom, aka the adoptive mom of Quinn and Puck's baby, is back.  Sugar's dad paid the school's principal to make a rival glee club just for her, and Shelby is the coach.  After Rachel and Shelby sing a Broadway song together, Shelby approaches Puck and Quinn about them being part of the baby's life.  She tells Quinn that her current skankiness isn't appropriate around a baby, but Quinn refuses to change back to her normal, not-emo self.  After seeing a picture of Puck and the baby, and after getting mega yelled at by Will, Quinn eventually comes to her senses.

But not before a whole bunch of "don't you feel sorry for me?" scenes.

After Sue's latest campaign scheme fails, she still isn't giving up, so Bieste suggests they need an anti-Sue to run against her... and my friend made a pretty legit prediction: what if Burt Hummel runs against her?  How epic would that be?  He is the complete opposite of Sue, after all.  It would make a lot of sense, so it should happen, but considering how much of a failure the writers are, I doubt anything that makes sense will actually happen.

 The latest political figure?

And the music this week was all Broadway stuff!  Booo.  I mean, I like the occasional Broadway song, but a whole episode full of it is too much for me to handle.  And there were only three songs: "Somewhere," "I'm The Greatest Star," and "Something's Coming."  What the heck?  I want more music!

But yeah, major fail.

Oh, and I don't think Quinnface came to her senses, I think she's trying to act like she's not a nutcase so that she can get custody of babyQuinn. Because that's how adoption works.
